Operation: Seitova on September 13, 2008

Scenario

Setting:  Republik of Urabania Season:  Summer

Urabania, a former member of the Soviet Union, now finds itself a victim of territorial violence four years after declaring it's independence.   Nostrovania, Urabania's former Soviet master and larger neighbor has decided to take action against the fledgling democracy.  Against outcries from the U.N., Nostrovania has allowed it's Border Guard to cross into Urabanian territories, which they plead is in "defense of the native Russian minority, which is under siege by Urabanian military."  Nostrovania claims it is protecting the interests of its people.  With the full backing of the Kremlin, Nostrova troops crossed the border without fear of reprisal and began setting up checkpoints all along the highways.

Three days ago a large contingent of Nostrovanian Mountain troops were routed out of neighboring Gazahikistan to reinforce those now in Urabania.  Sporadic fighting has terrified the border towns for several weeks, but this large movement of hardened combat troops is not a good sign.  Urabania, a member of NATO is still waiting for the U.N. to decide on what action they will take.

Meanwhile, there is a tense build up of troops on both sides of the conflict near the once beautiful Urabanian city of Seitova...
